Henry Roe is a 16 year old singer songwriter from the north Charlotte area. He enjoys music, sports, the outdoors, and hanging out with his friends. He started playing guitar when he was 9 and has been singing since he was very little. He has played at venues around the Lake Norman/Charlotte area and loves it. In January 2021, he released his first single “Dream On”. He is working on an EP and is excited for what comes next!
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I live with my mom (Anne), dad (Phil), and my younger brother Eli. My family is very close and we love trying new things together.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Prior to COVID, I worked as a house band at three locations of a Charlotte restaurant. As the pandemic restrictions lighten up, I am seeking out restaurants/venues to start playing live music again. I love playing live music because of the energetic atmosphere and fun community.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in Lake Norman?*
I’ve have been playing live music in the Lake Norman area since I was 9.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?*
If I could travel anywhere, I would love to travel across Europe. I’ve never been overseas and I’d love to go see diverse cultures and try new foods.

Play at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

Go tubing on Lake Norman.
Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?*
I helped build an orphanage in Honduras.

I’m thankful for my music teachers that have taken time to pour into me.
