Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family is extremely close, I work with half of them on a daily basis.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
My goodness, I am so fortunate to do what I do. I love the environment, the beauty of cultivating, the smells, the people, the history.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Lake Norman?*
There are too many to choose from, but I’d have to say Big Daddy’s. Pickled watermelon rinds, delicious seafood and the best ceiling in Mooresville.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in Lake Norman?*
I guess I’d affectionately call myself a Mooresville “townie”, except for the five years I lived in Raleigh, I call this community home.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?*
With travel restrictions, I feel like that list has tripled, but my boyfriend and I just watched a ton of Yellowstone, so let’s say Montana.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Cut your flowers for arrangements early in the morning, and if you don’t kill a plant every now and then, you’re not growing enough.  My dad always says “that’s farming”.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
To visit Scotland

Q: Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
Well, I have a sister and work colleague named Olive. She is the sweetest, most relaxed girl, except around squirrels.

Q: If someone was visiting Lake Norman for the first time, what’s one thing you would tell them they HAVE to do here on their trip?
Visit downtown Mooresville, we have the cutest little downtown district!

Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?*
I really hate riding a bike.

Q: What is your favorite pizza topping?
Pepperoni and Jalapeño

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My mother!  She’s is so passionate about making everything look beautiful, I love that quality in her.

Q: Finally, what would be your #1 “wish list” feature for your dream house?
A big porch!
